Be You

We all are always trying to fit in. The society has set an image for all of us to follow. Score good marks, get into a good college, get a job, earn money, have family and there goes your happily ever after.

I am not saying that this is wrong. Yeah, maybe for some. But not for all.

"Who am I?". This is a very basic question you must ask yourself. You are you and you are invincible. No one can stop you from what you want to do. Because this is your life and you decide whatever path you want to take.

You don't have to think about what other people are going to say. Remember this always, "This is your life and you are going to live it so do it the way you want to."

This world, it is made to oppose, it will resist all your attempts, push you down and mock at you while you cry. But you, you can't stay down, rise. Give everything you can to get what you want. No one else is going to give it you. You have to take it yourself.

Don't try to fit in, don't be an imitation, photocopies. This is not a puzzle where we all fit in.
Every leaf in the tree is of different shapes. No leaf is the same. The branches with different thickness and length. They stand together, strong and rise up to face the sun.

You don't have to be tall or short, fat or lean, black or white, gay or straight, you just have to be you.

"Find your passion and make a living out of it". This is surely not an easy thing but it is not impossible either. If it was easy as eating, everyone would do it. Try at first but if you don't get it, don't be disappointed. Practise makes perfect. Keep trying, keep doing whatever that makes you happy.

Life is a maze, you never know which direction you must take, you just have to trust your instincts. Sometimes you may reach a dead end, you have to retrace your path and see where you have gone wrong and choose another path. This is a long run but you can't just give up in the middle, you have to keep going till you reach the end, till you find your way out.

If it means doing it alone and then so be it. But no matter what you must never lose yourself. You are what you have got. Everyone else in your life is just a chapter, they come into your life, teach you a lesson and go on about their own story. You are your hero and heroes never give up.

Some people will be our sunshine, some people will be our heart break, some people will teach us to love and some will teach us to hate, some will teach us the happiness of giving, some will teach us the sadness in grieving.

Your heart is made up of millions of pieces. Pieces of people you meet. When they leave you behind, they leave a piece of them in you and when you leave people behind you  leave them yours. We all are so inevitably made of each other but we are also us.

These tiny parts of us teach us who we are. Stop spending your time trying to know others. Start learning yourself. There is no man powerful than the man who knows himself thoroughly and knows what he wants.

Educate yourself, know what you have to know. There is no one in this world who can stop you. The world will oppose but you have to jump the fence. If life isn't hard, this wouldn't be life.

Know your own inner self and be your own king or queen.

Nothing can break you or fix you better than you.

Save yourself, know yourself, love yourself and most importantly be yourself.

Don't try to fit in, you are not them and they are not you.

Stay amazing, keep rocking and be you.

I love you all.

You're amazing.

With all my love,

L.S. xx

Chaos

You begin saving the world by saving one person at a time; all else is grandiose, romanticism or politics - Charles Bukowski. The world, it is chaos. Everyday, we are struggling, struggling to get through the day and trying to fall asleep at night. What are we running towards? The simple task set ahead of us is the direction we should be running towards. Once you reach it, what do you do then? Set yourself another task and start running towards it. All our life, we keep running, never really knowing when to stop or why we really need to stop. This is madness. People who stop in the middle, giving up even before they realize their destiny, one of the bravest souls of all. What is beyond this earth? If you lose your life, do you roam around as ghosts? Or the people who have unfinished business are the only ones roaming as ghosts? Do you get a chance at another life? Or do you just fade away? What is it? Freedom or prison? Silence... It's blank. Unknown. Theories ha...

Stuck in an endless cycle

Fresh out of the stressful phase of our life which was titled 10th board exams, the Government didn't fail to introduce the second part for our stressful phase. Just when we thought we could breath, could take a break before we prepare ourselves how we're going to face 12th, the Government introduced yet another way to make us sit at home under the watchful glare of our parents. 10th board exams was a mountain itself to climb. We were set in a mindset where we could live our school lives in 11 std but as those Government officials - who think that scores matters more than the stress that the students face matters - again had it their own way, for whose benefit, I am still struggling to see. Forced under pressure from all sides to score well, to get into good college for simultaneously three years could wear our youthful hearts. At the age where we are yet to learn many new different things, where we are yet to explore the mysteries of this wonderful world, we are made to sit...

The Worst Part

The worst part while writing board exam is...well, there are many worst parts. Like, getting the first row in the exam hall, not getting a seat next to the window, sitting in a room with complete strangers, not getting a seat under the fan, getting a creaky chair that squeaks whenever you move, realizing that there is only little ink left in your pen. Overcoming all these worst parts, I have choosen one, which personally for me is the most difficult one. The "fifteen long arse minutes" before the question paper is given to us. This could be the most terrifying time of all. Especially when you're not confident. No one is ever confident enough, unless you're some nerdy geek who knows all the words in the textbook and knows how to tackle twisted questions. My legs would bounce up and down uncontrollably and I will be trying so hard not to think about the question paper. But trying not to think about it is only going to make me think about it. And so, the first fifteen...
